Wayne Lyle, age 77, of Erwin, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his home. A native of Unicoi County, Wayne is a son of the late Gene and Maude (Higgins) Lyle. Wayne was a one of kind brother in-law. In my younger years I would go and visit my sister Judy and Wayne would have something for me to do!! Dig potatoes move stuff. We would always laugh and joke over what ever we was doing.(He will always have a special place in my heart.) Love Michelle

Judy and family, I will be praying for you all as you remember one of the best story tellers. Wayne loved talking about his family and his experiences. It was almost that time for me to hear a few more but God had other plans and His plans are better. I will miss you buddy.
