Margaret Miller

Margaret Miller, age 97, of Erwin, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Christian Care Center of Unicoi County. A native of Lancaster, South Carolina, Margaret is a daughter of the late Will and Annie (Lancaster) White. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School before moving to Florida. Margaret loved to take care of people, loved to cook and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, but most of all, she loved being a grandmother. In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Jack Miller; two sisters: Mary Miller and Sarah Jones; and her son-in-law, David Casey.Margaret Miller has left behind to cherish her memory: children: Gail Harvey and husband Jim, Janet Miller Huff and husband Mike, Brenda Casey and Danny Miller and wife Jane; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gene White and wife Dru, of Kings Mountain, NC.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Margaret Miller in a graveside committal service to be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 28, 2023 in Bumpus Cove Cemetery.
