Peggy Stout

in honor of LTC (r) Charles.

Alice, I am so sorry to hear about Fred. Both you and he were such sweet people. I’m glad that I got to meet both of you as I am sure my mom would have loved to have met and gotten to know both of you as well. She never got to meet any of her dad’s side of the family, since she was only six weeks old when he passed away. From time to time she would mention that she would have loved to have met some of her his family. I will always remember both of you and how sweet both of you were the first time we met. I will treasure pictures I have of y’all at one of our Christmas dinners.
I wish I could be there for his service on Saturday but my daughter, son and I will be out of town. My sincere thoughts and prayers will be with you.
Peggy Collin Stout- daughter of Margaret Ashley Collin and granddaughter of Clarence S.Ashley
