Cynthia Louise Yelton

Cynthia Radford Yelton, age 54, of Erwin, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at her home, surrounded by loved ones. A native of Erwin, Cynthia is a daughter of the late Eddie Lawrence and Norma Faye (Lyons) Radford. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Erwin. Cynthia enjoyed taking care of people, taking walks with her family and her beloved dog, Ruby Rose. She was a mama bear who fiercely protected those she loved, an avid animal lover with a great sense of humor, and she always saw the best in everyone. In addition to her parents, Cynthia is preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.Cynthia Radford Yelton has left behind to cherish her memory: husband, Mark Yelton; daughter, Hillary Howell; grandson, Alek Howell "grand prince"; and Hillary's father, Robert Howell.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Cynthia Radford Yelton in a committal service to be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in the mausoleum chapel at Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Ralph Crass will officiate.
